- radio education in Pakistan -
report | Weltbilder NDR, Globall 3000 Deutsche Welle,
Deutschlandradio Kultur, UNESCO | 2015
The Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkwa is best known for its Taliban and Malala Yousafzai. And for Osama bin Laden, who - until his discovery in 2011 - hid in the provincial capital Abottabad. International relief organizations here are often seen as spies. But Fakhira and her husband Najib and their grasroot organization are from here. They have set their minds on changing the world, or at least this world. And they really seem to do it: with almost infinite motivation and the power of the radio.
